2018 - The Honeypot Children's Charity

Since 1996 Honeypot has been working to enhance the lives of young carers and vulnerable children aged 5-12 years of age by providing respite breaks in the New Forest and ongoing outreach support. Honeypot gives young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provides a safe, nuturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.

In January 2019 we were invited by Viv Carter (Regional Community Fundraising Officer) to visit Honeypot House.

This was a very special opportunity for us to see for ourselves the amazing facilities that this charity provides for young carers.

Set in 7 acres of beautiful woodland, Honeypot House is equiped with swimming pool and extensive outdoor play equipment.
