New Milton Music Festival 2025

22nd March 2025 at New Milton

This year as in the past, we entered the Woodwind Adult Ensemble class. We played two contrasting pieces 'Spanish Polonaise' by Grant Horsley and 'Black is the Colour of my True love's Hair' a traditional folk song arranged by Ricky Lombardo. Unfortunately we were the only entrants in this category, so unsurprisingly we did win the cup! The adjudicator awarded us a distinction and passed on some very complimentary comments and also some useful tips.
