Summer Concert 2024

7th July 2024 at All Saints Church, Milford

Our Summer Concert was in aid of local charity força - strength against cancer. This concert raised £200 bringing our total so far this year to £1050. We played a variety of music from around the globe, including 'Appalachian Suite', 'Tango' and 'Spanish Polonaise'. It was lovely to see lots new faces as well as many of our regulars and we had lots of complimenty comments afterwards. Our musical director, Margaret Jarvis devised a quiz for the audience with questions refering to a geographical aspect of each piece. We did of course serve our usual cakes and coffee/tea, giving audience and performers time to mingle and chat.
