Everton Village Festival 2017

18th June 2017 at Everton Nurseries

For the second year running as part of the Everton Village Festival we were invited to play at Everton Nurseries, a lovely place to play amongst the flowers. The Festival ran for a week commencing Sunday 11th June.
In spite of the heat which affected the tuning of the flutes as well as us, we received very positive feedback from the audience.
Our programme included some old favourites, such as 'Where is love', 'Toot Sweets', 'The Great Escape' and 'You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two' as well as 'Gavotte' from Shostakovich's 'Ballet Suite' and 'Allegretto' by Jacques F. Mazas.
During the week other musical events took place at St. Mary's Church Hall, The Pavilion, Everton Social Club and the Recreation Ground.
